Today we find ourselves in an environment of uncertainty with inflation, the debt ceiling, lack of appropriation, CRs etc. Agencies are experiencing a decrease in budget while contractors and government alike are facing increased costs. With the never-ending cycle of Continuing Resolutions, agencies cannot adequately plan for customary four-year cycles. This presents an enormous challenge for both the agencies and the contractors who serve them.

    Ms. Dunne is a Principal at Monument Advocacy. Ms. Dunne formerly served as the Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service at the GSA. Ms. Dunne also served in senior staff positions in the Senate and House of Representatives including Staff Director on the Government Operations Subcommittee to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Ms. Dunne also served as the Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Industry and Security at the Department of Commerce and Associate General Counsel for General Law at the Department of Homeland Security.

    Ms. Gaisford is a Senior Director at the Chertoff Group where she advises clients on Federal growth strategy. Prior to joining The Chertoff Group, Ms. Gaisford led the government-facing business line at a DC-based start-up focused on improving the Federal government’s acquisition of cutting-edge technology. Ms. Gaisford was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting supporting DOD and DHS clients and worked for several large system integrators in the Intelligence Community. She began her career as a Federal employee including positions as an OMB examiner and Chief of Staff of the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology.

    Principal, Chertoff Group

    Mr. Roth is a Principal at Chertoff Group where he has advised large U.S. defense contractors through federal market analysis and engagement efforts. Prior to joining Chertoff Group, Mr. Roth served in several leadership positions at the Transportation Security Administration including as Deputy Executive Assistant Administrator for Operations Support and the Chief of Staff for the Chief of Operations. Mr. Roth retired as a Captain from the U.S. Coast Guard after 24 years of service. During his service, Mr. Roth held several leadership positions including as the Strategic Advisor to the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard.

  • Tyler Sweatt
    Tyler Sweatt -
    CEO, Second Front Systems

    Tyler Sweatt is the CRO at Second Front Systems (2F). He works with government and commercial customers across the Five Eyes community to reduce barriers between commercial technology and defense and national security communities. His focus is on changing how government agencies identify, engage, and vet commercial technology companies and how commercial technology companies deliver software to government users. He is also a Technical Advisor at Pallas Advisors, a member of the National Security Advisory Board at CalypsoAI, and a partner at Silicon Valley Defense Group. Previously, Tyler served as the Head of National Security at CalypsoAI and founded and sold technology advisory firm Future Tense. He also led the emerging technology and security practice at Toffler Associates, working with US and international governments and corporations to build strategies for rapidly changing technology and security landscapes. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Tyler is a former U.S. Army officer.

    Mr. Williams has served in several federal senior executive level leadership positions responsible for major program and acquisition organizations. Mr. Williams has also had leadership roles in government nonprofits, including serving as co-chair for the Partnership for Public Service’s Strategic Advisors to Government Executives community, ACT-IAC Industry Chair, and Strategic Advisor to the Government Services and Technology Coalition. Mr. Williams was the Acting Administrator of the General Services Administration and the first GSA Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner. Mr. Williams led the IRS procurement organization and has received two Presidential Rank Awards.
